Board Chairperson Margaret Warcup, on behalf of the Board of Education, shared with regret that Superintendent Aaron Callaghan will be resigning from his position with Coast Mountains School District.
The Board of Education will be moving forward to consider the appointment of an interim Superintendent of Schools, thus leaving Aaron’s departure date over the summer months. The Board of Education will also immediately initiate a Superintendent search.
Aaron has been an important part of our school community with his sense of care and compassion for all our learners. In his time with our District, his leadership has concentrated on obtaining the goals of our Strategic Plan, including a strong focus on success for every learner.
We wish Aaron every success going forward.
